Based in the Scottish Borders, I am a former picture editor at The Scotsman, The Scotsman Magazine and Scotland on Sunday.
During my career, I have written a range of articles, interviews, reviews, travel and comment. I was proud to be runner-up in the Food and Drink Writer category at the 44th Scottish Press Awards for my Scotland's Larder weekly series, and have since been nominated twice. I’m still passionate about telling the stories of the people behind Scotland’s food and drink businesses. More recently, I was named a finalist at the Inspire Global Media Awards, having previously been nominated at the TravMedia Awards in 2024.
